First of all I would like to thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at Borgo San Felice.
I am deeply sorry to read that your expectations were not met.
Secondly, I would like to share that Trip Advisor is a useful instrument that helps lot of travellers choose their perfect holiday destination and for this, it is my duty to respond clearly to all the feedbacks that we receive.
And mostly to clarify, where not clear, the services that Borgo San Felice, as a Relais & Chateaux, offers to its valued guests.
Concerning the breakfast, we offer a wide selection, from salamis, brioches, cold cuts and homemade pastries.
During check-in, per standard, we happily show the grounds to the guests and explain them the facilities we have onsite.
Among the information we give, we inform the guests that ours is a continental buffet breakfast and on request, they can order from the menu, other hot dishes that are not on the buffet.
Like other reputable 5 star hotels, this is the same procedure offered.
Being a 5 star Hotel, we serve high quality products and the prices are proportioned to the high quality service offered.
Regarding the plastic glass, this is because the Italian law states that is strictly forbidden to use any kind of tablewares unless of plastic.
I am very sorry for not being able to meet you personally and find any solution, because if we knew that there were some issues with your trip, we would have discussed about this and would have been able to make it up to you.
