You can enter with food.

Yes, you can take food inside. There are places with tables where you can sit and eat your own food. If it is about reducing spendings -bring your own drinks and /or bottles - the tap water is drinking water and you can fill up the bottles. There is at least one place (next to the tiger) where you can buy a sausage and a bread for around 6-8 CHF.

It‘s allowed to bring the own food and there are a feew picknick areas where you can wärmt it!

We had some food with us and there were some areas where you could sit down.

You can take your food with you and eat somewhere outside on a cosy bench. Probably you could also sit on a self service restaurant table but I would recommend fairplay and buy your food there.
