If we come visit near end of march... do we see the animals outside... ore they are still Inside hiding from the cold?

You would get a more precise answer from the zoo itself! But all I can say is - it depends on the weather of the day. There won't be any snow. And it could be warm! It doesn't get that cold in Zürich anyway and many of the animals don't mind the cold. More, I think, a question of grass etc.
