Hi, just print off a copy of your hotel reservation, but to be honest we were never asked to show it to anyone although they do random checks. Outside the airport you get on the number 50 bus which stops at the main SBB train station (takes about 15 minutes) . Then take the number 8 tram to Aescheplatz (only 1 stop). Then catch the number 3 tram in direction of Birsfelden Hard and get off at stop 'Baren' and Alfa hotel is across the road. The trams are very regular (every 7 minutes)
