Tour guide was über knowledgable. Learned so much about the coastline and wildlife. Saw a 10 day old grey seal. No dolphins on our trip but the people before us had seen some. Boat was clean, safe, & comfortable, as well as very quick! The kids loved driving the boat.

My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic boat trip out around Rock, Polzeath and Port Issac. I would highly recommend this trip which provides information on local history, nature and events. The guide was fantastic and passionate about his work.

Having been a rock-er for almost 30 years who'd never left the estuary by boat the sea tours seemed an obvious idea. Great guides, great views! My daughter loved it and is still talking about the Dolphins!

Fab day coasteering, our guides Ed and DJ were brilliant and took extra effort to help my 10 year old son who found the rough sea conditions v challenging. I would highly recommend this company. Great fun, but exhausting if you are in Cornwall and want an adrenaline packed activity try Coasteering with Cornish Sea Tors.

A group of us (12 adults and 2 children) went down to Padstow to find a boat tour, we called around before arriving and earmarked a few tours with this being one of them. We hadnt booked anything before hand as we thought we would try book in person once we get a better feel what we are going for but unfortunately on arrival there was only 1 active boat tour in Padstow, thankfully this came up when searching and there was availability for all of us. Booking was easy, only drawback was we had to get a ferry to rock from padstow which cost £4 an adult and £2 for children 3 and over. Skipper was on the pontoon ready for us when we arrived at the agreed time. The experience was amazing... We had high expectations and the skipper (Andy) did his utmost to fulfill them, he was very helpful and often went the extra mile to make sure we were well accommodated. We went for an hour long tour as we were all wanting to go but the 2 hour was a lot to shell out especially for those with kids. We went out and searched for Dolphins which is what we were hoping to see, at first we had no joy, Andy took us to a isolated island where birds would gather and showed and talked about the variety of different birds and their pros and cons. After touring that island we should of been going back to the pontoon really but the skipper went back out to look for more sea life, our expectations had been lowered after our first search for dolphins as they were hard to spot but slightly after going further out Andy spotted birds which circled Dolphins and he sped straight over to them, low and behold he found a pod of maybe 10 dolphins which made it a once in a lifetime experience for us all. Seals are probably gathering in a cave somewhere and you would probably see some on the two hour tour but for the tour we had and to see what we saw made it more than worth while and our group would highly recommend to all.

We booked for the Sea Safari and hoped to see some seals and maybe dolphins. On the day we went out the seas were pretty choppy (Hurricane Gonzalo was heading towards the coast) Andy our skipper decided he'd take us out anyway and gave us waterproofs as well as telling us where the 'dry' seats were. The trip was absolutely wild! For the first 40 minutes we were flying across the waves getting absolutely drenched (thanks Andy!) It was absolutely brilliant. We then pulled into a few places where you might see seals and spotted a few bobbing around watching us as well as some interesting sea birds. After another crazy ride across the waves we decided that we should retreat to the safety of the estuary where Andy talked us through some of the history of the ports, pointed out some points of interest and gave us the download on Oysters! It was an amazing experience and i would highly recommend it.

Cannot recommend highly enough!!! All 8 of us were totally enthralled with our boat tour from Rock to Port Isaac and back again to have dinner and watch the Fishermen's Friends. Andy, the skipper is a local lifeboatman and his local knowledge is fascinating and not to be missed. Amazing boat, we literally leapt across the waves but always felt safe and managed to spot dolphins on the way :-) Not to be missed!!!

An amazing experience and I would advise anyone wanting a really fun boat trip on a fast, safe rib while at the same time seeing dolphins, puffins, seals and other wildlife while learning about the amazing coast and maritime history of the area to book your seat now! I have been on the boat twice now with different skippers and both were knowledgeable, interesting and professional.

From the first phone call to book the trip this felt like a really amateur outfit. It now seems to be part of a Polzeath surf school where all contact was with clueless teenagers. On calling the office I was told the manager was on the beach and no one knew the password for the iPad to make a booking. They called us back and we booked for 11am two days later. Having travelled to Padstow (£5.40 for parking) we got the ferry to Rock (£12 for the five of us), arriving at 10am. I then called to check all was OK and ask where we should meet. As instructed, we found the young lad at the pontoon at 10.50am who kitted us out with life-jackets an sat us in the boat at 11am. For the next 45mins we sat waiting for the skipper to arrive to take us on the trip. The young rep (looked about 15) did his best in the circumstances and spent most of the time on his phone trying to figure out what was going on but could offer no explanation - until finally admitting the skipper had got 'mixed-up'. I called the 'office' and was told by the girl at the other end that she was 'on the beach' (which she confirmed was very nice) and couldn't help us. We then decided to abort having wasted half a day of our holiday and £17.

My advice - these guys look to have the more exciting boat trip but book with your eyes open. It may not be worth taking the risk. Boat trips now seem a side-line to the main surfing business. We wish we'd booked one of the more professional alternatives in Padstow.
