Da wir große Game of Thrones Fans sind, haben wir die doch sehr lange Autofahrt sehr gerne auf uns genommen. Unser Fahrer war pünktlich und stets sehr freundlich.
Bei der Hinfahrt legten wir neben dem Stopp an einem sehr netten Cafe mit super Aussicht auch viele Fotostopps ein, daher verging die Zeit schneller als gedacht. Angekommen wurde uns ein Guide zugeteilt, welcher mit uns bis nach oben ging und uns einige Fakten über das Dorf mitteilte, jedoch selbst nicht allzu begeistert wirkte (wir ziehen trotzdem keinen Stern ab aufgrund Preis/Leistung). Nach meinem Hinweis gleich anfangs, dass wir (ähnlich einem Drehort in der Serie) an eine bestimmte Stelle wollten, um das Dort von dort sehen zu können, legten wir auch noch dort einen kurzen Zwischenstopp ein, auch wenn das dem Guide meiner Meinung nach nicht allzu recht war. Danach aßen wir mit Blick auf das Dorf vor Ort zu Mittag, die Menge/Qualität war in Ordnung, jedoch nichts besonderes. Auch im Filmstudio hatten wir eine Führung mit einem Guide, jedoch in einer (kleinen) Gruppe. Der Herr war sehr lustig und bemüht und die Führung machte Spaß, konnten anschließend auch noch selbst herumgehen, um Fotos zu machen (die Zeit davor war uns als einzige der Gruppe etwas zu kurz :-) Bei der Rückfahrt hielten wir nochmals zwecks Erfrischung/WC an dem bereits zuvor genannten Cafe mit Aussicht. Wir würden den Auslug jedenfalls weiterempfehlen.

Then we had lunch with a view of the village on site, the quantity / quality was ok, but nothing special. Also in the movie studio we had a guided tour with a guide, but in a (small) group. The gentleman was very funny and tried and the tour was fun, could then go around even to take pictures (the time before we were the only one of the group a bit too short :-) on the way back we stopped again for refreshment / toilet at the aforementioned cafe with a view. We would recommend the excursion anyway.
