I took my two sons, 8 and 11, and we all loved this tour. It was tasty, educational and well prepared. I highly recommend this as a way to explore the city.

Sue and Kerrin were phenomenal at setting things up, working with us on delays, and just being overall wonderful guides. You can tell from their relationships with the stores that they are really doing something good and delicious!

We really enjoyed it...such a great way to see Zurich! The guide was so friendly...we got just the right amount of chocolate for the afternoon ;p and definitely visited some spots that I never would've made it to on my own. Good balance of chocolate tasting, walking around, and a little bit of history/culture/info about the city as well.

We done this tour last week and had a great time. We learned all about local chocolates and the different artisan chocolate and cheese shops. We got lots of free samples. Took a long time though. Make sure to have a comfortable pair of shoes.

My husband, Matthew, and I took this tour at the end of our first trip to Zurich. It did not disappoint! Our guide was wonderful! So friendly and knowledgeable. I loved all of the little treats we got along the way. A wonderful variety of samples are provided throughout the tour and not just chocolate. I also loved how they explored many local shops and not just the big chains. We went on a rainy day and still had an amazing time. The tour company is also wonderful at communication. Highly highly highly recommend!

We took this trip back in May and have to say we both enjoyed it. Our host, Sue, was amazing and an absolute wonderful tour guide. At each of the four chocolate stops we were given a few samples to try and a little background information on the process of chocolate making. Our host also brought us to a few other stops one of which was a candy store and the other an ice cream place. Along the way to each of the stops we made six in total she also pointed out a few restaurants that were must eats and also offered a handout of a few of her favorite spots. Overall, it was a delightful experience and one that I would highly recommend.

This was the second time I took the Sweet Zurich Tour, and again I was not disappointed. We went to several new places, and we learned much about chocolate and making top-notch chocolates, enjoying multiple samples along the way. The hot chocolate at Honold was out of this world!

I have been living in Switzerland for several years and have been to Zurich many times so I did not expect to learn anything new but I did! The tour took us to numerous artisanal chocolate, sweets ice-cream and pastry shops (mostly family run) with delicious tasting along the way. As we walked through Zurich's New and Old City, our guide Sue was pointing out places of interest and made us aware of small details (a statue here, an interesting carving there..) which I had never observed before. Sue's knowledge about Zurich as well as the rich history of chocolate making in Switzerland is amazing, she could answer any question that was put to her by the group. We couldn't have asked for a better guide who obviously enjoys sharing her knowledge, her enthusiasm and passion for chocolate.
This tour is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth, both for visitors and for locals.

Get ready to learn about all things chocolate from amazing tour guide named Sue. She took us on a leisurely walking tour of handcrafted chocolate shops and showed us how to slow down and enjoy the snap, smell and flavor of some of the most delicious chocolates in the world.
We had a sugar buzz from the wide array of gummy samples at a candy shop, added to the ice cream, hot chocolate and cupcake samples. The last stop at a chocolate and cheese shop was a good way to end the tour. It was opportune to do this tour in the afternoon. Since we had so many calories, we ate an apple for dinner, and that was enough. Very fun and enjoyable!

Hello, thank you very much for your interest in the sweet tour. Unfortunately the tour is not possible in the evenings, as all the shops are closed. Real sorry about that. Hope we'll have the chance to organize a tour for you should you be back in the city during a weekday. Enjoy your travels !

Hello Sofia, i'm not sure if you got my reply the other day; so I'll try again. Thank you for your interest in the Sweet Zürich tour ! The tour is absolutely appropriate for children - we have babes, toddlers and teens join quite often. It's a walking tour about 2-2.5 hours, with stops along the way to visit the shops and taste. The only problem would be if you don't want your girls having any sugar ;-) If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks again !

Hello, thank you for writing and for your interest in Sweet Zürich ! Unfortunately, there aren't any actual chocolate factories in Zürich. The one factory that many people hope to visit in Zürich is Lindt & Sprüngli, but they do not allow public visits (for hygiene reasons); you can simply go to their store there. The Sweet Zürich tour takes you around the old town to different shops, where you can taste and learn and talk and more. But it does not include actual factory visits.
If you would like to visit an actual chocolate factory, I would recommend the Cailler factory in Broc in western Switzerland. Otherwise, give the Sweet Zürich tour a try - taste, learn, discover and have fun ! :)
Sweet regards,
Kerrin Rousset
