Nice trip and good guider but the cheese fondue experience not that good for me but overall I would recommend to get this trip

Our guide was terrific! Helpful, calm in the face of a rowdy group and patient.
However, this ‘tour’ was not worth taking. The view was the best part of the outing. There was a ‘visit’ to the Lindt factory without being able to tour the facility. It’s literally a stop to buy chocolate, which you can do anywhere.
The description suggests walking, there was virtually none. So for some maybe that’s good. The Swiss dinner was eh🤷♀️ not great definitely you could book a fondue meal anywhere for less $$.
Overall a swing and a miss.

We are pleased to hear that you were satisfied with the service provided by your tour guide and will gladly share your kind words with him.
As stated in the tour description, the tour starts with a stop at the Lindt Home of Chocolate, where our guests can visit the Lindt café and shop but do not have time to do the audio-guided tour through the chocolate museum. For that reason, we have explicitly listed the visit as follows: “Visit of the new Lindt Home of Chocolate (only shop, no factory or museum visit)”
We are sorry to hear that the food was not to your liking and hope that the amazing views and good company partially made up for your experience!

Our guide, Monika , was so very good; knowledgeable, fun,helpful and a good driver. She was so kind to give other helpful information about traveling in Switzerland when I asked.
The restaurant was in an amazing location. To top it off the food was great and the host fun and delightful.
The short stop at the Lindt Chocolate factory enabled me to sample yummiest, and get my gifts for my family .
I highly recommend this tour and ask for Monika.

Since I was only in Zurich for 1 day. I thought it thru to just have a morning and evening/afternoon trip. The Guide was not that great and he gave us minimum info if we ask he will answer but he doesn’t tell us anything him self. The Lindt shop is only a Quick shop to but Lindt .. the cable car ride up to the dinner spot was okay.
The fondue was a bit disappointing! We only got bread and cheese? (Like we paid a fortune for a ride up to this place as this is all we got???
I think it’s a bit overpriced for the thing they offer.

Thank you very much for rating our culinary “Zürich Sunset Tour”.
We are surprised to read your comments regarding our tour guide Thomas. He has been working with us for several years and is usually praised for his enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of Switzerland. Thanks to your prompt feedback, we will be able to follow up your constructive cirticism with him directly.
After a short introductory drive through Zürich, the tour continues to Kilchberg, where you get the chance to visit the Lindt Chocolate store before you board Zurich's only aerial cable car in Adliswil. Upon arrival at the Felsenegg view point restaurant, you can enjoy a choice of appetizers together with a welcome drink. An assorted bowl of salad is served before you enjoy your fondue. Traditionally, bread cubes are used for dipping into the cheese fondue, which might not be spectacular but typically Swiss. To round off the four-course menu, a home-made chocolate cake is served.
Switzerland is known for its high standard of living and the high costs associated with it. Unfortunately, eating out is not exempt from this and may seem rather expensive compared to other European countries. We are sorry to hear that you felt that the tour was not worth the money and hope that we can convince you of the opposite on one of our other tours on your next visit to Switzerland.

Franz made this experience even better with his personal touches of the tour. The meal at the top of the mountain was wonderful, from the wine to the appetizers and then the awesome Fondue.
The directions to the bus area was a bit limited....an address and street intersection would have been beneficial.

We enjoyed the small group and our guide, Franz. We were able to talk and get to know the other couples, which was made this a wonderful experience. The weather was great and we had a clear view of the lake and Zürich.
The Lindt factory was ok but it was just a shop. The cable car ride and dinner were the highlights.

Monika took us around Zürich, stopping by Lake Zurich and the Lindt chocolate factory store on our way to dinner.
We ate appetizers, salad, and traditional Swiss fondue high above the city. Finished off with chocolate cake.
The cable car trip up and views from the restaurant patio were amazing.
Wine and food included in the price, great value for the cost and Monika was a great hosts.

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Monica, our tour guide, was wonderfully helpful and very knowledgeable. We learned quite a bit about Swiss culture in general and Zurich in particular. Our group was small (6), which made for a very enjoyable experience. Both the food and the view from Felsenegg were spectacular!

We enjoyed the views and information from the tour guide, about the city, culture and others. The Lindt shop was very big and has some photo spots and delicious options. The cableway trip was short but nice. Walking through the woods was exciting, however, it could be better having a flashlight for returning in the night.
The restaurant served some snacks, the delicious cheese fondue and a chocolate cake. We were a small group and could chat and share dinner with other travellers. We took very good memories at home.

We did this tour last month with Monica as our guide. It was a wonderful way to spend our last afternoon in Zurich. The cost was the one factor in my not giving is a 5 star review. It is a bit pricey. But I feel that. overall, it is worth it. The stop at the Lindt factory is just a shopping stop, no real info into the chocolate making process. That being said, the rest of the stops were excellent. We stopped just on the edge of Lake Zurich for a photo stop before heading on to Felsenegg. Monica was charming and informative. She answered all our questions and was full of historical facts. The cable car ride was lovely. Felsenegg and the dinner were excellent. The food was delicious. Eating outside on the patio, wrapped in blankets, and enjoying the Alpine sunset were a wonderful way to end our trip to Zurich. Thank you Monica!
